Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday fired a fresh salvo at the BJP just a day before the fifth and final phase of polling in Bihar.
Kejriwal tweeted saying it was important that the BJP loses the assembly elections in Bihar.
Reiterating his support for the Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Kejriwal urged the people of the state to vote for him.
“I appeal to all to call up their relatives and friends in Bihar and ask them to vote for Nitish Kumar,” he said in a tweet in Hindi.
He also attacked the BJP for an newspaper ad on Wednesday that features a woman hugging a cow and attacks Nitish for his “silence” over remarks made by his allies.
Kejriwal had earlier predicted a clean sweep for the JD(U)-RJD-Congress’ Grand Alliance in Bihar. The result of the election will be announced on November 8.
