The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will seek legal opinion on action to be taken against Ruby Rai, the intermediate (arts) topper, for her failure to turn up before experts assigned to interview rank-holders of the examination, according to a Telegraph report.
After questions were raised over the quality of Class 12 Science and Arts toppers this year in Bihar, the state government has decided to conduct their interview and a special team will re-examine their answer sheets, officials said on Wednesday.
The Bihar School Examination Control Board (BSEB) has invited Class 12 Science, Arts and Commerce toppers to appear in an interview on 3 June after it was reported that toppers lack even basic knowledge of their subjects.
