No semen was detected by the forensic science laboratory in the exhibit submitted in connection with the case of semen filled balloons being flung at two female students of Delhi University, reported ANI.
Every year, multiple cases of harassment are reported during the Holi period, but a number of them go unreported as well. These incidents of harassment occur under the pretext of festival celebrations. This year, two Delhi University students felt that the balloons that were flung at them without their consent were filled with semen.
“It dried white on my black leggings, and the foreign smell clearly indicated that it wasn’t water. Of course, at that point in time, I didn’t guess what it really was. Not even close to what it really was. You see, nobody had thrown semen at me before yesterday,” an LSR student had written in an Instagram post.
The post caught eyeballs and there was significant outrage with many coming out and sharing their own Holi horror stories. The police subsequently promised a probe and strict action.
However, the forensic report now states that no semen could be detected in the exhibit submitted.
