Pakistan Rangers have violated the ceasefire yet again, this time targeting 12 Border Security Forces (BSF) camps at 6:20 am at Akhnoor region of Jammu and Kashmir.
A 20-year-old civilian has been killed in Pargwal region of Jammu and Kashmir.
Heavy firing and mortar shelling was reported along the International Border in Jammu.
As of 8:20 this morning, the firing was reported to be on.
Similar violations of the ceasefire agreement have taken place repeatedly in the last several days.
On August 2, Pakistan Rangers had violated ceasefire in four different regions along the Line of Control (LoC); BSF had avoided retaliation until the third one.
Today, however, the BSF retaliated immediately to the continued unprovoked firing.
