Chandigarh, Sep 24 (IANS) Noted Punjabi author and state awardee, Ali Rajpura, on Tuesday unveiled his book here that talks about the brotherly bond between the Sikh and the Muslim communities in Punjab.
The book, 'Sikha teh Musalmana di Etihasik Sanjh', has depicted the bonding of all 10 Sikh gurus with Muslims in their various forms as companion, disciple and followers.
Prior to this, Rajpura has written nearly two dozen books on Punjabi culture, language and history that are turning out to be a source for researchers and students.
The author said there had been extensive elaboration on the Sikh history of the state which is taught across educational institutions.
His research, however, based on facts, has revealed those aspects of both communities that were unknown.
The Panj Piyaras (beloved ones), who were present at the book release, appreciated the work of the author who dedicated his work to Guru Nanak Dev on his 550th birth anniversary.
