- 19 children who were being bought from Bihar to work in Mumbai as labourers were rescued on Monday. The children were between 10-16 years of age.
- The train in which the children were being bought originated from Raxaul (Bihar) and terminated at Thane, instead of its original destination (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus), where the children were rescued.
- 14 people accompanying them have been booked under the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act.
