14 Suspected ISIS Operatives Denied Bail by Special Court

The judge rejected the accused’s application saying the allegations were serious and they did not deserve relief.

  • 14 suspected ISIS operatives, arrested from across the country for allegedly financing and recruiting people have been refused bail by a special court.

  • District judge Amar Nath rejected the accused’s bail applications saying the allegations were serious and they didn’t deserve the relief. In the application, the accused sought statutory bail, saying the period of probe had expired on 18 May.

  • Earlier, the NIA had told the court that the accused were involved in the outfit’s conspiracy in India and abroad, including recruitment of resident and non-resident Indians.
