The online registration for over 30,000 vacant posts in Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) began at 10 am on 1 March and will close at 11:59 pm on 31 March 2019.
Candidates who wish to apply can do so through the official website – indianrailways.gov.in – and all the other regional websites of the board.
The computer-based test (CBT) is expected to be conducted sometime between June and September and the selected candidates will get remuneration as per the seventh CPC pay matrix.
The NTPC include the following positions: Clerk, Typists, Traffic Assistants, Goods Guard, and Station Master, etc., while the Para-Medical Staff vacancies include Staff Nurse, Health Inspectors, Pharmacist, ECG and Lab Technician.
RRB NTPC Recruitment 2019: How to Apply
The candidates can apply through all the regional official websites of the RRB.
- Go to the official website of the RRB concerned.
- On the homepage, click on the ‘NTPC registration’ link
- Log-in with your registered user ID
- Fill up the form, and upload your photograph and the required documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay an application fee of Rs 500 using the options given on the webpage. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen, other reserve categories have to pay an application fee of Rs 250.

- Closing Date & Time for Payment of Application Fee through SBI Challan: 05 April 2019 at 15.00 hrs.

- Final submission of Applications: 12 April 2019 at 23.59 hrs.
