PSEB Class 12 Results 2018: Puja Joshi Tops With 98%

Girls have fared better than boys this year too with 78.25% pass percentage.

Punjab School Education Board declared Class 12 results on Monday. Ludhiana’s Puja Joshi topped the examination with 98% marks in humanities stream. Vivek Rajput came a close second with 97.77% in science stream. He also hails from Ludhiana. The third topper of the Punjab board 2018 examinations is Jasnoor Kaur with 97.33% in commerce stream.

The last exam for class 12 was held on 24 March.

How Have Students Fared in Class 12 PSEB Exams?

  • The average pass percentage is 65.97%.
  • Girls have fared better than boys this year too as last year with 78.25% pass percentage.
  • The pass percentage for boys is 60.46%.
  • Ludhiana students stay firm at top in both academic and sports categories
  • Puja Joshi and Vivek Rajput are from Teja Singh Sutantar Memorial Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana whereas Jasnoor Kaur is from Dashmesh Public Girls Senior Secondary School, Badal.
  • This year 3,00,417 students appeared for the exam out of which 1,98,199 were successful.
