The CBSE UGC NET exam procedure for 2018 started with the online application process opening on 6 March. The National Eligibility Test (NET) is slated to be conducted on 8 July, reported Chandigarh Metro. The online application should be done on the official website.
At this point it is essential to note that the last date to apply for the CBSE NET 2018 exam is 5 April. The last date for submitting the online form and paying the submission fee in 6 April.
Candidates are also advised to read the conditions of eligibility before applying. The candidate is not required to send any hard copy of their application form to CBSE. Submission of the online application form is compulsory, reported Chandigarh Metro.
Incomplete forms will be rejected.
The official website of CBSE also says that the board has the right to change the examination centre.
Candidates must attach and bring a photo identity proof for verification.
The exam will have two sessions: Paper One and Paper Two, which will be conducted on 8 July 2018. Paper 1 will be of 100 marks and have 50 questions. It will begin at 9:30 am and conclude by 10:30 am. Paper Two will be of 200 marks and have 100 questions. It will start at 11 am and conclude by 1 pm.
The entry to the examination hall will begin at 7 am, reported Chandigarh Metro.
