The CBSE announced the JEE Main 2018 Paper I results on Monday, 30 April. The results, expected much earlier in the day, were announced at 6.30 pm on jeemain.nic.in.
As many as 2,31,024 top candidates of JEE Main 2018 qualified for appearing in JEE Advanced 2018 out of 11,35,084 candidates who appeared in the exam. Till 2017, only top 2,20,000 candidates of JEE Main were eligible to take JEE Advanced. Registrations for the JEE Advanced exam will begin on May 2, 2018.

Cut-off Marks for JEE Mains 2018
The cut-off marks for JEE Mains 2018:
- Common Rank List: 74
- Other Backward Class (OBC - NCL): 45
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 29
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): 24
- PwD: -35
The results for JEE Main Paper II are expected to be announced on May 1.
