The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) on Friday, 11 January, announced the change in dates for seven subjects in the Class 12 examination for the year 2019.
The dates for Informatics Practice and Computer Science have been postponed from 28 March to 2 April, the board said in an official release
The dates for Philosophy, Entrepreneurship, Human Rights and Gender Studies, Theatre Studies and Library & Info. Science have been postponed from 2 April to 4 April, the release also said.
The exam schedule for Class 10 exams have not been changed.
CBSE had released the datesheets for the class 10 and the class 12 examinations on Sunday, 23 December, 2018.
While the examinations for class 12 students will commence on 15 February and conclude on 4 April , those of class 10 students will commence on 21 February and conclude on 29 March.
The results of both class 10 and class 12 examinations are likely to be declared by the first week of June 2019, Sanyam Bhardwaj, the Controller of Examinations, said in the notification.
