Four Students Killed in Car Crash in Greater Noida, Six Injured

The students were on their way to the Galgotia University, where they were students.

Four students of the Galgotia University were killed on Sunday when their vehicle overturned on a service road of the Yamuna Expressway in the Dankaur area near Greater Noida, police said.

According to officials, around 10 students were going to the university in a 'Xylo'. One of the tyres burst and the vehicle overturned several times because of the high speed, an official said.

Four of the students died on the spot, he said.

The accident took place near the Noida International University in Greater Noida. The deceased have been identified as Salman, Balram, Tushar and Ayush.

Jayesh, Sharif, Vaishali, Somaya, Simran and Prerna were injured in the incident, the official said. Several of the injured were under treatment at the Kailash hospital, he added.
