In a fresh round of punitive action in the PMC Bank scam, former Managing Director of the lender, Joy Thomas and former director Surjit Singh Arora have been sent to custody.
On Thursday, 17 October, the two individuals were brought to Mumbai's Esplanade court, following which Thomas was sent to judicial custody for 14 days, while Arora was sent to police custody till 22 October.
On Wednesday, the court had extended the judicial custody of accused Rakesh Wadhawan, Sarang Wadhawan and Waryam Singh till 23 October.
