Car Bomb Explosion Rocks Kabul; Casualties Feared
A heavy explosion jolted the city of Kabul on Monday evening and was big enough to be heard in different parts of the city.
The Interior Ministry’s spokesman Nusrat Rahimi said it was a car bombing that happened at around 9:45 pm Kabul time.
He said the explosion happened in Kabul’s police district 9 (PD9) near Green Village, a residential area for foreign nationals, offices and NGOs.

Rajasthan CM Condoles Death of ARMY Jawan in Pak Firing
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot condoled the death of army jawan Hemraj Jat, who was killed in Pakistani firing in Jammu and Kashmir.
The jawan was killed on Sunday as Pakistan violated ceasefire by resorting to mortar shelling and small arms firing on forward posts and villages along the Line of Control in J&K's Poonch district.

Mamata Visits People Affected by Metro Work in kolkata
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visited the city's Bowbazar area where several buildings were partially damaged owing to tunnel boring work of the East West Metro and spoke to the affected residents.
One house was paritally collapsed and cracks have appeared in several other buildings, Banerjee said adding that around 375 people have been affected.
