The Delhi Police have “discouraged” clubs in Hauz Khas Village from holding Ladies’ Nights as the events “disrupt” law and order situation in the city.
Speaking with The Quint on condition of anonymity, senior Delhi Police officials confirmed that the establishments have been ‘asked’ to avoid organising Ladies’ Nights for the sake of women’s safety.

The “advice” of the Delhi police comes just days after a female resident of the city took to Twitter to recount the horrific incident of a group of men trying to abduct a woman from the HKV area.
Earlier in February, A 35-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped by two people in HKV, while she was on her way back home.
