Boy we take our food delivery orders seriously- like it is our birthright, and the only thing we take even more seriously is our refunds if that food isn’t delivered on time.
A Zomato customer care agent was apparently under so much pressure to make a customer happy that he had to swear by his mother, with a Maa Kasam, the mother of all promises that the customer would get his money back.
A look at the message exchange shows us that the customer wanted the agent to ‘’“ma kasam khao’’ or swear on his mother, that the money refund would come. Ironically kasam khao can literally be translated to eat the promise....but that may be one too many food delivery related puns for us to swallow in one story!!! Sorry , couldn’t resist.
Here is the message conversation.
The internet cracked up at this exchange, some saying they hadn’t heard the word ‘mother promise’ since they were nine years old. Grow up everyone, its just food delivery, and chill, I’m sure your refund will surface eventually mother promise or not.
