Serena Williams recently posted a picture on Instagram revealing her French Open outfit and took her followers by awe. Apart from being a tennis star, mother, philanthropist and one of media’s favourite celebrities, Williams is also an entrepreneur with her own fashion line.
Her French Open attire, however, was designed by fashion designer Virgil Abloh in collaboration with Nike.
What catches eyes in her fresh outfit is that it has words ‘Mother’, ‘Champion’ ‘Goddess’ and ‘Queen’ in French on it. The idea behind her outfit just adds on to her charisma when she indulges in the sport.
On Monday, Williams defeated Russian player, Vitalia Diatchenko at the Tournament donning the said outfit.
In an earlier news, William’s catsuit outfit was banned after she wore it for last year’s French Open Tournament. She claimed that she felt like a ‘Wakandan superhero’ in the all-black catsuit.
Clearly, nothing stops Williams from making different statements with her ever-so-fresh new outfits at a platform which is her stomping ground.
