Yoga Asanas to Be Projected on UN Headquarters on Yoga Day

The United Nations General Assembly declared 21 June International Yoga Day in 2014.

The United Nations General Assembly declared 21 June as the International Yoga Day in 2014. 175 countries, including USA, Canada and China co-sponsored this resolution.

This year, on International Yoga Day, the United Nations is set to project Yoga asanas on the building of their Headquarters in New York City.

Syed Akbaruddin, India’s ambassador to the UN, tweeted a picture of the UN Headquarters and made this announcement.
