We don’t need any more evidence of how cool Canada is (pun intended), but here’s another video of a Canadian politician being uber charming.
A video of a local Sikh man teaching a Canadian mayor how to tie and wear a turban has gone viral. And to top that, Whitehorse Mayor Dan Curtis can also be seen breaking into bhangra moves after successfully wearing the turban.
The video posted online last week has already garnered more than a million views.
In it, the mayor can be seen learning the art of folding a turban by Whitehorse resident Gurdeep Pandher.
The aim of the video was to promote a “diverse, wonderful and beautiful community” and afterwards, Curtis thanked Pandher for his lessons.
Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his charming and progressive demeanour have already made him popular world over. His inclusion of a Sikh leader in his cabinet has garnered accolades everywhere. And his government is seen as an example of a new-age diverse world.
