The city of Manchester came together to offer assistance to those affected by the explosion which rocked the Manchester Arena on Monday. The alleged suicide attack took place during the fag end of pop-singer Ariana Grande's concert. At least 22 lives were lost and over 50 people injured.
With the area close to the site being cordoned off and the adjoining Victoria station being shut, many were left stranded.
However, Twitter served as an effective medium, with #RoomForManchester trending, and connecting those in need of assistance to those willing to offer help.
