Robot, Maybe Lizard? Twitter Is Convinced Zuckerberg Isn’t Human

Conspiracy theories loomed on Twitter about Zuckerberg’s otherworldly performance as he testified before the Senate.

Even as Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was grilled by 44 US senators for over five long hours on Tuesday, Twitter had its own fun ripping Zuckerberg’s performance apart for being suspiciously un-human.

Zuckerberg was called on to testify before US lawmakers in two sittings over the recent Cambridge Analytica scandal, data privacy concerns and Facebook’s complicity in the spread of fake news and hate speech globally.

But those issues took a backseat when Twitter users noticed something strange about Zuckerberg’s manner and affect.
