French President Emmanuel Macron must not have expected that amidst all the talks on the Iran nuclear deal and trade during his visit to the US, a “little piece of dandruff” on his jacket would also end up making news.

And who else to bring up Macron’s dandruff but US President Donald Trump? During a photo-op session at the White House, Donald Trump was being all chummy with Macron as he told him, “They’re all saying what a great relationship we have, and they’re actually correct. We do have a very special relationship”.

And then suddenly, out of the blue, Trump turned towards Macron and said, “In fact, I’ll get that little piece of dandruff off — we have to make him perfect. He is perfect.” Of course, Trump’s words were duly complimented by his actions as he extended his hand to do the needful.
