Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Kiren Rijiju nails the #BottleCapChallenge yet again, but this time, to mark the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the Indian Constitution.
“To mark the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the Indian Constitution, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports will create awareness for Fundamental Duties of the citizens, promote PM @narendramodi Ji's vision of #FitIndiaMovement take pledge to remain fit and make India Fit. #BottleCapChallenge ,” wrote Rijiju posting a video of his performing the Bottle Cap Challenge.
The video received appreciation for his idea of making the challenge act as a catalyst for bolstering the Fit India Movement.
What is #TheBottleCap Challenge all about?
The Bottle Cap Challenge had gone viral on social media earlier this year after World Taekwondo champion Farabi Davletchin posted his video performing the act on June 26.
Since then, many celebrities, like Akshay Kumar, Kendall Jenner, Shilpa Shetty, etc, were also seen posting videos of them performing the viral challenge.
The minister had been lauded when he boosted the challenge the first time, acing the Bottle Cap Challenge.
In fact, he has been seen encouraging the fun challenge fusing it with a fitness cause.
He had posted the video of his on Instagram when the trend got viral captioning it, “Say no to drugs🚫 Get ready for Fit India Campaign #Bottlecapchallenge #Bottlecupchallenge #Bottleneckkickchallenge #fitness".
Rijiju also said, “Opening of bottle cap is an act of "Surgical Precision" which requires a perfect combination of focus, balance and strength. If you desire to inculcate more discipline into your life, try becoming more fit. Fitness is not about how you look but more about discipline.”
