Shiv Kumar Prasad Chaurasia, a man who owns a betel shop in Gaya never anticipated that one day, he will be known as ‘Shubham’s father’.
His son Shubham Chaurasia, scored 99.56 percentile in JEE Main 2019, despite all odds. The results were declared on 19 January.
In an interview to the The Hindustan Times, Chaurasia thanked the coaching institute that helped his son.
My son would not have achieved success without help of former DGP Abhayanand, who runs ‘Magadh Super 30’ coaching centre, and its coordinator Pankaj Kumar, who mentored Shubham.
Abhayanand guided and inspired Shubham throughout his journey to crack JEE.
Shubham Kumar Chaurasia dreams to become a support system of his family. He is truly an inspiration for those who come from similar circumstances. He proved that lack of resources cannot stop anyone from achieving success.
If I achieve something in life, I will first stop my father from selling betel. I will support education of my sister and I will also work for betterment of society that ensured my education. My all earnings will go for charity, particularly for education of the girls of the families having little resources.Shubham to Hindustan Times
