Scrapping Triple Talaq Historic, or an Eyewash? Twitter Weighs In

Everything that transpired on Twitter post the judgment.

The Supreme Court struck down the practice of Triple Talaq as unconstitutional. The SC bench declared the practice “un-Islamic, retrograde, unworthy” and said that it “violates (the) right to equality.”

Tweeple, of course, had a lot to say and a lot more to speculate. While some applauded the decision, others mulled over the consequences, the larger socio-political scenario, and what the judgment means for Muslim women.
