QSatire: Aamir Khan’s Special Gift to AAP and Arvind Kejriwal

AAP turns three today and find what all gifts does the party receive.

AAP-ko Janamdin mubarak ho! The baby of the Indian political parties – Aam Adami Party has turned three today. It’s been a crazy journey for Arvind Kejriwal, who after comfortably sitting on Anna Hazare’s lap decided to crawl its way from Jantar Mantar and walked right into Delhi Assembly.

And the power of the common man could be felt in the Capital. We at The Quint wondered what gifts AAP would receive today.

Don’t worry, nobody expects any return gifts. We know how broke AAP is.

The Magic AAP-Mantar

It was Delhi Government which decided to erase Aurangzeb road from the Capital and renamed it to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Yeah. It was that easy! So why not rename the birth place of Arvind Kejriwal’s party – Jantar Mantar and call it AAP-Mantar – the mantra for the party’s success. The place where his karta-dharta, Anna taught him all about dharna because dharna ke aage jeet hai!

And lo and behold, the party came into power twice!

AAP ki Khatir

This gift is especially for our crazy movie-goer Arvind Kejriwal.

The FTII students will produce a film – AAP Rising – the struggle, betrayal and the victory of AAP. The three-year journey of the party will be best explained in three hours with a lot of emotional dharna (Oopss! Drama). Kejriwal, himself would act in the film and the script will be written by Aamir Khan. Mr Perfectionist will make it a blockbuster hit with the right amount of masalas and great promotional tactics. The least he can do after all the support he has received from the Chief Minister.

The AAP Tune

The expelled leader Yogendra Yadav misses his party and his pal Kejriwal. And to win his friend’s heart back. Yadav has composed a song dedicated to Aapians:

Tu kitni achchhi Hai, tu kitni bholi hai Pyaari pyaari hai O Aaaaap O Aaaaaap
Ke yeh jo duniya hai, yeh ban hai kaanto ka tu phulwaari hai (o aaaaaap.... o aaaaap -2)...

Yadav would also give a live performance outside AAP’s headquarter and hope that Kejriwal has a change of heart. Yadav knows Kejriwal is an emotional man, when he sees Yadav braving the winter chill he will give in and offer him a welcome drink (cough syrup).
