Did Preity Zinta Just Say She’s Happy That Mumbai Is Out of IPL?

The Kings XI Punjab may not have made it to the playoffs in this year’s IPL but co-owner Preity Zinta sure seems happy that the Mumbai Indians haven’t qualified either.

In a video posted on Twitter, actress Preity Zinta is seemingly mouthing, “I am just very happy that Mumbai is knocked out, very happy.” The clip, which doesn’t have an audio, was posted by a Twitter user.

Defending champions Mumbai Indians failed to make the playoffs after going down to Delhi Daredevils by 11 runs in a must-win encounter for them on Sunday, 20 May.

In the last group stage match of the tournament, the Kings XI Punjab were knocked out after they lost their must-win match against the Chennai Super Kings by five wickets.

After the CSK vs Kings XI match, Zinta tweeted her disappointment and wished her best to the teams going into the playoffs.

The Chennai Super Kings and the Sunrises Hyderabad will face each other in the first qualifier on 22 May followed by the eliminator which will see the Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals lock horns on 23 May.
