The Niagara Falls, located on the border of the US and Canada, are one of the most picturesque locations in the world. Following a recent dip in temperatures, the Falls look even more attractive engulfed in a blanket of snow.
People on social media cannot stop sharing pictures of the popular tourist attraction.
“Looks Like Narnia,” Say Tweeple
Here are some of the stunning pictures of the Falls that reminded many of Narnia, the fantastical setting of C S Lewis’ popular series The Chronicles of Narnia.
One of the visitors also shared a short clip of the waterfalls in the backdrop of a sun-draped skyline of the city.
The frozen Falls lighten up at night and are, according to one netizen, “a sight at night time too!”.
AccuWeather said on Twitter that while the falls “are incredible by themselves”, the ice “enhances the scene, giving tourists a special treat”.
