Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the respective Duchess and Duke of Sussex, became parents on 6 May 2019. As eagerly as everyone awaited the birth of the Royal Baby — or ‘Baby Sussex’ as he is being called on the internet — the anticipation for his ‘first look’ was even higher.
Well, the wait is over! The Royal Baby has made his first public appearance with his parents and Twitter has collectively shared an ‘awwww’ moment.
“Well, I have the two best guys in the world. So I am really happy (sic),” said new mom Meghan Markle to the media, as Baby Sussex lay snug in his dad’s arms.
The proud parents are yet to decide on a name for their baby boy. The couple, reportedly, want to choose a name that will unify American and British cultures.
Twitter’s ‘Awww’ Moment
Twitter was buzzing with congratulatory messages, celebrating the adorable photos that flooded social media.
“Meghan Markle really is a breath of fresh air. She looks beautiful before and after pregnancy!” tweeted one user.
Another user is convinced that #BabySussex will be the “the most handsome of them all,” while also deciding that he looks like Meghan’s dad.
“I’m over the moon happy for Prince Harry and Meghan,” wrote another user.
What’s in a Name?
People cannot wait for the Royal Baby’s name to be announced. With the first glimpse, the anticipation is gathering even more momentum.
One Twitter user hopes that the Royal Couple pick an unusual name for the baby “just to piss off all the judgmental TV presenters that constantly criticise her (Meghan).”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have constantly made headlines, ever since they began dating, for their unconventional way of doing things. This Twitter user notes that according to royal convention, the new mum holds the newborn. However, “this pair are doing things their way and it’s so refreshing.”
Most things on Twitter lead to memes and jokes and it was only a matter of time before they appeared. This user, for instance, is “living the dream.”
