Kalpen Suresh Modi, how could you NOT make a desi reference? We are quite taken by his Kal Ho Na Ho reference, and from the looks of it, so is the internet!

We are talking of none other than Kal Penn! The Harold & Kumar star tweeted out a post on 6 April, likening the Vice President of the United States Mike Pence to Kantaben from Kal Ho Na Ho. To no one’s surprise, Indians on Twitter were quite stoked by the Bollywood reference. While some applauded the post with much zest, others couldn’t stop gushing about how alien the reference must be for Americans.
