Netizens Parody Jio Institute, Mock ‘Institution of Eminence’ Tag

“‘Institute of Eminence’ banne ke liye institute ka hona zaruri hai kya?” ask Netizens about Jio Institute.

Reliance Foundation’s Jio Institute is among the six colleges that have been granted the status of ‘Institution of Eminence’ by the HRD Ministry.

The catch? The institution is proposed by Reliance Foundation and remains yet to be established.

Though the HRD Ministry has attempted to defend the ‘provisional’ tag, netizens aren’t quite on board with the decision. The news, however, has served as fodder for some of the funniest memes and jokes on the internet.
