On Wednesday, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation entertained and catered to many of its followers on Twitter with a single badass tweet. IRCTC tweeted in response to a man’s complaint about obscene advertisements popping up on the official IRCTC website.

This complaint was posted with a couple of screenshots of the website and accompanying ads as a proof. Moreover, the man went on to tag the current Minister of Railways as well in his tweet apart from tagging IRCTC’s official twitter handle.

What made this tweet a trending thread was IRCTC’s very professional but witty reply.

IRCTC, with a clear intention to educate and provide a solution to the complaint, tweeted that the man should clear his browsing history to avoid ‘obscenity’. This subtle but savage reply from Ministry of Railways made way for a thousand comments and memes.

Within 24 hours the tweet has gone viral and people are replying to it because the Twitterverse seems to be so impressed by IRCTC’s subtle repartee.
