Swedish furniture maker IKEA will launch its first Indian outlet on 9 August.
The 4,00,000-square feet showroom in Hitech Complex, on the outskirts of Hyderabad, will display around 7,500 products. About 1,000 of these will sell for less than Rs 200 a piece, Bloomberg News reported. It’s the first of 25 stores Ikea plans to open across India by 2025.
While the store opens for customers only on Thursday, here’s a peek into the facility.
