A few days ago, The Quint undertook an extensive investigation on the Patanjali Doctors in New Delhi and NCR who claimed they could “cure” homosexuality.
The cures ranged from taking an ‘anti-dote’ for homosexuality to keeping oneself away from “gay-company.”
The responses we received were laced with innuendoes, jeers and a strange kind of sympathy.
The post-DoQ phase has been particularly interesting for us. On one hand, we have received accolades from the LGBTQ community for bringing Patanjali quacks to the forefront, and on the other hand Baba bhakts have lambasted our attempt and have called us “anti-national.”
Here’s a low-down of the social media unrest that we caused. Send us your comments too.
