Farrah Abraham is an American reality TV star who participated in the show Teen Mom OG. Looks like the star isn’t in need of compliments as she has already declared herself the ‘Best dressed’ at the MTV Movie and TV Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night. Sporting an Indian look, she wore a hot pink lehenga, mirror work choli, ghagra and a maang tika to add on.

The TV star received a lot of criticism from Twitterati for wearing ethnic clothes and making fun of the country’s culture. She was accused of ‘cultural appropriation’ for wearing lehenga choli. An Instagram user even commented by saying, “She's using cultural fashion for attention”.

Here’s how Twitterati reacted.

Farrah told Too Fab that with her ethnic Indian look, she wanted to “bring culture to the red carpet". She added by saying that she isn’t worried about the backlash she is receiving on social media, and that her move will motivate other people to accept different cultures.

Like Katy Perry, even Farrah Abraham has moved beyond the social media chatter.
