Just when we thought that the Internet is done with the trend of “anything-can-go-viral” (after the whole Priya Varrier craze), here is another woman about whom social media can’t stop talking about. And they aren’t just talking about her, people have actually started an online hunt for Supriya.
It all started when a woman named Aishwarya Sharma overheard a conversation between two men at a restaurant in Andheri, Mumbai. One of the men was boasting about how he had ditched his girlfriend Supriya and made out with another girl.
After that Sharma made it her mission to find Supriya and tell her about her cheating boyfriend. She took to Facebook to find her. Read the full post here:
Thus began the “Save Supriya Mission”.
And guess what? Her post went viral and now people are tagging all the “Supriyas” they know, not only in Mumbai but in Kolkata, Bengaluru and several other cities. Wow! Such dedication.
Seeing the great response she got from different people who (almost) made their life’s mission to find this one woman, Aishwarya further posted:
While her hunt for Supriya continues, Aishwarya has also started a search for Aman, so she and others can send him “get well soon” cards.
Quoting Munnabhai, are we?
A Bid to Get Famous?
Well, some people thought Sharma’s hunt for Supiya and Aman was just another stunt to find fame on the Internet.
However, some people appreciated Sharma’s attempt to help a sister.
The comments may be divided but hey, who can forgive a cheating boyfriend? Can you? Can I?
After all #PyaarEkDhokaHai. So thanks, Aishwarya! We hope at least someone finds Supriya soon and acquaints her with the truth.
