US President-elect Donald Trump was named the Time Magazine’s ‘Person of the Year’ on Wednesday, a month after he secured a shockingly comfortable majority over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
Though the controversial businessman finds himself on the cover the magazine, one cannot fail to notice that he has also been labelled as the “President of the Divided States of America”. Time being cheeky, is it?
Time, with an openly anti-Trump editorial stance, resorted to subtle critique, social media did not hold anything back. The disappointment flew freely all over Twitter.

Trump’s ‘Time’less History
Interestingly, while Trump called the development "a great honour", in the past, he has criticised the magazine's choices for ‘Person of the Year’ and ‘Most Influential People’ in his signature unabashed manner. A typical example of his upending opinions, we must say!
Nevertheless, looking at Trump's presence in the online space in the past few months, we can say we won't be surprised if he is getting the title of 'social media sensation of the year' in the near future.
