It would be fair to say actor Bobby Deol’s career hasn’t seen too many highs, apart from his 1997 box office hit Gupt.
In his career’s second phase as a disc jockey (?), even as Deol Jr transitions from (questionable) actor to (questionable) DJ, he doesn’t want to let go of the short-lived golden days of his acting career.
Last month, he was invited to play at a high-end nightclub in New Delhi. The rather steeply priced tickets of the event (Rs 2,500 to Rs 4,000) were reportedly sold out.
But the crowd was not happy with what they got, as DJ Bobby played songs from Gupt on loop through the night and into the wee hours of morning.
The angry guests at the party were having none of it and demanded refunds from the manager. While the actor/DJ hasn’t spoken on the issue and had reportedly even left by the time the angry demands for refunds began, Twitter had a field day with Bobby’s failed set list.
