This video of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and his wife Amruta singing the now titled ‘Mumbai River Anthem’ has caught the Internet’s attention and it can’t have enough of it — for reasons good and bad.
The song is a call to action for Mumbaikars to come together and help save Mumbai’s four rivers — Dahisar, Mithi, Oshiwara, and Poisar. Released by T-series, the video features Fadnavis lip-syncing to the melodious voice of Sonu Nigam, while his wife croons her own words.
This cause driven music video has, however, invoked some mixed reactions from the Twiteratti. Here take a look
