Pollution levels in the National Capital Region (NCR) reached further hazardous levels on Sunday, 3 November.
Delhi and neighbouring regions received mild showers on Sunday morning. Though the rains were presumed to provide ‘relief’, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi NCR remained worrisome.
The Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 878 at 10:00 pm in Anand Vihar, 999 at Mother Dairy Plant in Parparganj, 824 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
Many took to Twitter to post visuals of low visibility in many areas and expressed concern about the quality of air.
