Twitter in Splits as Stray Cow Enters IIT-Bombay Classroom

Hours after a video of a stray cow interrupting a class at the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay (IIT-B) surfaced, social media users had a field day on Sunday, 28 July.

In the video that has been doing rounds, a cow can be seen entering a classroom during an ongoing lecture at IIT-Bombay, leaving the students all the more confused.

The incident took place in the last two days, a Mumbai Mirror report quoted the institute students as saying on Sunday.

"There has been no action despite the shocking attack on a student this month. There is silence over the issue," a student told Mumbai Mirror.

The students at the institute have reportedly voiced their concerns over safety issues in the wake of increasing stray cattle menace inside the institute premises.

The institute, however, has blamed it (herds of cattle on campus) on the human-animal conflict, the report said.
