Let’s talk boob-y traps.
That’s all we have been thinking of.
At least since this happened: A Chinese restaurant in Hangzhou is in the news for offering discounts to customers based on their bra size.
Yes, you read that right!
We fell off our chairs, scratched our confused heads, and still couldn’t make sense of it.
The restaurant’s advertisement illustrates a line-up of women in their underwear. The slogan reads, “The whole city is looking for BREASTS.”
So, to simplify things, the bigger your breasts are, the more the discount, BBC reported.
The discounts have clearly failed to tit-illate us (sorry), but a lot of customers seem to have taken the bait. The general manager of the the restaurant, Trendy Shrimp, vouched for the offer. “Once the promotion started, customer numbers rose by about 20%,’’ he claims.
Also, he mentioned that “Some of the girls we met were very proud, they had nothing to hide!". Err... that’s not the point, sir.
Oh , before we forget, here’s the next pearl of wisdom dispatched:
Customers could claim their discounts from the female staff, in order to "avoid embarrassment".
Reports say that the posters were taken down after complaints termed them ‘’vulgar’’ and "discriminatory towards women".
Now, all said and done, we have have three important questions. We leave the rest to you:
1) What about man-breasts?
2) How does a staff member confirm bra size?
3) What next?
We can’t wait.
Wait.
Yes, we can.
