Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Duchess Kate Middleton are all set to celebrate the second birthday of Princess Charlotte on Tuesday. To mark the occasion, the official Twitter account of Kensington Palace released an adorable photograph of the Princess on Monday. In the picture, the little Princess Charlotte, who will soon be turning two, is wearing a knitted yellow cardigan with a sheep on it, and a navy-blue clip adorning her hair.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge kept Charlotte away from the public eye as she was last pictured only at the Christmas Day church service in Berkshire, in December 2016. Here’s a picture of the Royal family.

The baby Princess was first photographed on the day of her birth, 2 May 2015. The Duchess held her daughter outside the private maternity wing of St Mary's hospital in central London, where the princess was delivered. She was named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana in a tribute to her grandmother, Diana, Princess of Wales, and her great- grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. Here are a few pictures of Princess Charlotte from her first birthday.

Her second birthday marks the beginning of a busy month as she gets ready to be the bridesmaid (you read that right) for her maternal aunt, Pippa Middleton, on 20 May.
