Former Telecommunications Minister and DMK leader A Raja, who was one of the key accused in the 2G spectrum allocation case, made his debut on Twitter, on 17 January.

A special CBI court delivered the final verdict against the key accused in the 2G spectrum ‘scam’ on 21 December, with Special CBI Judge OP Saini declaring all 17 accused in the case “not guilty”, including the controversial telecom minister.

People on Twitter, however, did not hold back and trolled him for his tweet by saying that the world remembers him for the 2G scam.

At the time of writing this article, Raja already had over 2,700 followers on the social media platform.

The politician is again in news for his book, 2G Saga Unfolds, that is set to release almost a month after his acquittal. Raja is believed to have launched a scathing attack on former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and the then Comptroller and Auditor General Vinod Rai.

According to the copy of the book accessed by News18, Raja claimed that Singh was kept in the dark by his advisors, and that his silence resonated with the “silencing of our nation’s collective conscience.”
