After literally shattering all the records at the Box Office with his mega blockbusters ‘Bahubali: The Beginning’ and ‘Bahubali 2: The Conclusion’, south superstar Prabhas alias ‘Darling’ is back with his latest film, ‘Saaho’ – also starring Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff and Chunky Pandey.

‘Saaho’ promised to be an action-packed thriller with Prabhas in the lead, but, did it manage to live up to the hype?

Now that’s debatable, because the movie is disappointing as far as the plot and the execution goes. ‘Saaho’ tells the story of a man and his fight to live up to his father’s (Shroff) legacy, against all odds.

The movie is packed to the rafters with high-power VFX and action sequences, but alas, finds little to no space to fit in a plot. It feels like writer-director Sujeeth was in some kind of rush to finish the film. But coming in at a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes, Sujeeth had plenty of time on his hand to layer the story.

With veteran actors like Shroff, Manjrekar and Pandey in pivotal roles, the film could’ve been much better than what it actually turned out to be.

The script reeks of lazy writing and the story line is predictable. The background score is too loud (not kidding, I couldn’t even hear my own thoughts during the fight sequences!).

But all in all, it’s an OK film. A one-time watch at most (but perhaps it’s best to wait for it to debut on an online streaming platform).

So, should you watch it? Watch a 100 percent honest review of ‘Saaho’ to find out. So sit back, put on your earphones and enjoy the show!
