The British royal couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, found an interesting way to celebrate Prince Harry’s first Father’s Day and it turned out to be an extra special gift for their fandom as well.
On Sunday, 16 June, the couple took to Instagram to share a photo of baby Archie, nearly six weeks old, clasping his father’s finger with one hand while resting in his arms.
A wide awake ‘Baby Archie’ looked at the camera when the picture was captured.
The caption to the image read, “Happy Father’s Day! And wishing a very special first Father’s Day to The Duke of Sussex!”.
Though this isn’t the very first picture of baby Archie on the internet, this appears to be among the first where we see him glancing at the world .
A few days after his birth, the couple shared a picture showing his feet celebrating Mother’s Day for Meghan Markle, who is holding him in the picture. The background showed a garden of forget-me-nots, noted to be the favourite flowers of Princess Diana.
The caption wished Mothers Day to all ‘past, present and future mothers around the globe’ and also to The Duchess of Sussex.
“It’s been the most amazing experience I could ever possibly imagine. Parenting is amazing, we’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy.”Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex
Visitors have been taking cuddly toys as gift while visiting the royal couple and meet little Archie.
About a week ago in an interview, a royal expert Katie Nicholl mentioned that Archie has played an essential role in mending the relation between Harry and Prince William, which was rumoured to have been under some strain, though such uncorroborated rumours always follow the personal lives of British royalty.
“Prince William is over-the-moon that his brother has become a dad.”Katie Nicholl, Royal expert
She added that Father’s Day is going to be an important day for Prince Harry as he has waited very long to become a father. Therefore, Father’s Day with baby Archie is going to be really important and may be the fans get a glimpse of the new prince on Instagram.
