Nicki Minaj is making headlines again, and this time it's not for another explosive single.
The star singer recently took to Instagram to share her joy in an Indian village getting a computer center, a tailoring institute, a reading program and two water pumps.
The connection? Minaj has been sending money for the village’s development through a charity titled Lydia Woodson-Sloley for the last two years, and she couldn’t have been happier with the results.
Naturally, the comments that followed were filled with praises of the singer for her act of philanthropy. Several Indians too gave her a pat on the back for her efforts.
Along with the video, the singer had also posted pictures of gleeful people in the village enjoying the tailoring equipment she had provided for. Minaj, however, kept the identity of the village to herself.
She was in news earlier for paying off student debts of several of her fans who reached out to her over Twitter. She later shared the names of the lucky ones through an Instagram post, promising to launch a charity that specially deals with student aids and education.
