It’s that time of the year again when you put on your best scary face forward and scream Halloween!

If your plan is to go asking ‘trick or treat’ in a desi andaaz, we have got you covered. Quint Neon collaborated with cosplayer Akanksha Sachan to give you the ultimate desi halloween makeover – The ‘Naagin’.

And guess what? You can do this yourself at home! Just follow these simple steps.

To Do Naagin Make-over You Need:

Part I – The Make-Up

STEP 1: Put primer on your face

STEP 2: Glue your eyebrows with fevistick

STEP 3: Apply foundation and cover your blemishes with a concealer (Don't forget the eyebrows and neck)

STEP 4: Colour your eyebrows green with eyeshadow

STEP 5: Contour your face using bronzer and highlighter

STEP 6: Place the net on your forehead and start shading on top of it with blue-green and black eye shadow. Lift the net to see the scale patterns. Repeat it on the sides of your cheeks and back of hands.

STEP 7: Use green and blue eye shadow, and draw the scales on your eyes with black eyeliner

STEP 8: Use red lipstick to color your inner lips and finish it up with dark green lipstick for the rest.

Part II: The Golden Bracelets:

STEP 1: Take the thread/string to measure your wrist

STEP 2: Mark the length on the craft foam

STEP 3: Cut out two thick and four thin pieces out of the craft foam.

STEP 4: Stick the thinner pieces upon the thicker one at the borders.

STEP 5: Join the ends together with super glue.

STEP 6: Use acrylic to paint it gold.

Gold Bangles are ready!

Part III: Hair and Accessories

STEP 1: Clip on the smaller toy snakes with the heads near your parting.

STEP 2: Stick the tails of the two bigger toy snakes, and wear them around your neck like a necklace

STEP 3: Put on your golden bracelets.

STEP 4: Stick the green gemstone AKA ‘Naag Mani’ on your forehead with some adhesive.

With this you have successfully transformed into ‘an ichha dhari’ Naagin (literally). Now go scare the sh*t out of your friends, in your desi halloween avatar!
