JK Rowling has announced via website Pottermore that she will be releasing four new Harry Potter mini-books (eBooks), to the delight of fans – and the disappointment of some!
These four books will be a series of non-fiction eBooks called ‘Harry Potter: A Journey Through...’ which will be adapted from the audiobook ‘Harry Potter: A History Of Magic’
“The series features four bite-sized reads, each themed by Hogwarts lessons, and will take you back in time once again to learn about the traditional folklore and magic at the heart of the Harry Potter stories.”JK Rowling, Pottermore
These will be accompanied by line drawings, manuscript pages and sketches by London-based artist Rohan Daniel Eason.
These books are supposed to give readers an insight into the various subjects learned at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, such as Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Potions, Herbology, Divination, Astronomy and Care of Magical Creatures.
The eBooks will be titled like so: Harry Potter: A Journey Through Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts, Harry Potter: A Journey Through Potions and Herbology, Harry Potter: A Journey Through Divination and Astronomy, and Harry Potter: A Journey Through Care of Magical Creatures,
